This project has not been extended due to a negative European expert evaluation. Since the criteria of this evaluation are highly significant, we document here the story of the disqualification of our work, starting from the preliminary report of the experts (December 2005)

Memorandum about the ex-post evaluation...
From the outset, it has been our intention to try and create a new research landscape wherein what counts for other researchers in different fields is taken seriously, which implies learning how to stimulate those others’ appetite for what you are doing.
The IMBROGLIOS-website was part of this challenge as it meant to activate a practice of constructing mutually interesting questions and knowledge.
Despite the end the project as such, the challenge remains vivid. This is why we have decided to publish online part of the work and discussions of IMBROGLIOS with the firm intention to pursue the experiment and to open it up to the concerns and interests of wider circles.
